Have you tried I heard about it maybe four or five years ago at a frugality forum, although I never got around to trying it out. I'm a total nerd dork geek, so for over a decade I've been waiting and searching for local online options for basic services, like grocery shopping and pizza delivery ordering. Unfortunately for me, stuff like that has been rather slow to catch on here as opposed to other cities like NYC or Chi-town. And unfortunately for me, the options that were available tended to be more expensive than just doing it yourself (boo to the infamous convenience "tax"!)

However, looks like it can be a decent alternative or backup for those times when you're busy as heck and can't replenish some dwindling key item in your stockpile. And/or if you're single/child-free and would prefer ordering online over going to the store without being reamed by high prices (or doing some coupon code website e-rebate bulk-buying gymnastics to avoid the price-gouging). Not that I've ever done that, heh. now offers free shipping and coupons, as well as 20% off your first order. From their blurb:
Alice is an online grocery store for home essentials like toilet paper, toothpaste, paper towels, coffee and more with free shipping and automatic coupons. Plus get 20% off your first order. They have a HUGE assortment of household items and lots of great features to setup lists and automated carts and shipping. It's really cool and can save you time and money.

Here are their current automatic coupons:

Q-tips - $.95 off
Dove Deodorant - $.76 off
Suave Naturals - $.46 off
Skippy Peanut Butter - $.81 off
Lipton Recipe Secrets - $.38
Degree Women - $.62 off

So if you haven't tried them out before, give it a shot. You can probably work out some great deals between the 20% off, coupons, and free shipping!
